Early 19th Century Brass Hunting Dog Collar With Serrated Edge And Padlock
Lovely Georgian dog collar circa 1810-20 made from brass with a serrated edge. The serrated edge was used to protect the dog's neck from predators whilst out hunting.
Antique brass padlock attached which has no key (I can try to find one) but the padlock is open
internal circumference 17" when on largest setting
To fit a 10" neck neck max
condition - fair - some splits to the brass at the back of the neck which have been reinforced with additional bolted on brass panel
