A very charming Spaniel needlecase circa 1800. She is made from bone and opens in the center - see photos. She is wearing a cut steel studded collar and is sitting upon a basket weave mat.
 
Nose to tail she is 65mm long.
 
A couple of hairlines but these are stable.
