Stunning Black Forest inkwell carved from linden wood in the form of a Pug sitting on his hind legs, his front paws in begging position so he can carry the ink pen. His head tilts back to reveal a little silver metal inkwell which opens with a little catch to reveal a removable glass ink jar.

Inside the inkwell is branded 'J. Streibe Wein'.

The ink pen is one of the best I've seen, so well modeled and in pristine condition.

The pug is in very good condition, except part of his leather and felt collar is missing (see pics).
